Week 1 Notes: The calculator here says I am 29% bodyfat, I find that hard to believe, I think the number is probably higher.

Week 3 Notes: I've cheated a little, food wise, but have completed the workouts daily. Am looking forward to incorporating 90 min. of Bikram Yoga into my routine starting at the beginning of next week.

Week 4 Notes: Well, this is fallout from the big "Birthday week"...there were several days I did not eat clean the entire day...but haven't missed a workout. I am fitting in clothes I haven't fit in for a while, so that makes me happy. Just need to get back on track food-wise :)

Week 5 Notes: TOM this week, I need to tighten up on clean eating, but overall, I feel good and I know whatever water I've gained this week will be off in a few days. I see some progress, I am not discouraged!

Week 6 Notes: Slow but steady progress. The workouts are better than the clean eating. If I can polish the eating, I think I'll be fine :)

Week 8 Notes: This is actually the END of Week 8. I had a few days of a family crisis that I did not work out, but tried to keep to clean eating at least most of the time. Now that I am back to the gym, I feel much better. 4 weeks to go, I'd like to reduce another 8.4 pounds in that time.

Week 9 Notes: This is actually the END of Week 9. I am totally disgusted and disappointed with myself. I missed two cardio workouts this week (one was because I had to work a 15 hour shift). I missed a LBWO today because I woke up with severe hip pain today, and I can't figure out what I did. No health insurance doesn't help the situation. I feel like crying and staying home, but I can't do that...I need some inspiration/motivation and something to make me feel good enough to get me back into the gym. Well, gotta get back on track....

Week 10 Notes: This is for the END of Week 10. Two more weeks to go, I'd like to be at 220 by the end of this challenge.

Week 12 Notes: This is the end of WEEK 12. I will post pics tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm really disappointed, but, I missed 5 workouts in 10 days, and my eating for the last 2 weeks was over the top, and I'm not sure why I went so far off track. I figured out in 12 days, I gained back 5.3 pounds, from what I was tracking on Wii Fit. It is so much effort to take off one pound, but so easy to put several back on in no time. Starting a new challenge on May 10, I need to do some serious revamping of mind, body and spirit to get ready for this next one. I have made some progress, but I can't regain what I lost...
Challenge #2: Tracking and lowering body fat this time... - Started May 10, 2010
Challenge Goals/Notes: This time I am using an Omron hand held body fat scale to measure body fat percentage. My goal is to lose .5% of bodyfat per week. 16 week challenge.

Week 1 Notes: I've been tracking my daily intake on The Daily Plate. I'm eating way too many calories and fat, plain and simple. Trying to make an adjustment. Body fat is going down and measurements changing slightly, I need to clean up the eating!

Week 2 Notes: I had a week of rest, fighting pain, fatigue and body wide infections from a chronic illness, taking steroids to keep my immune system from attacking my body. Fun life stuff :) Going into Week 3 with a little more energy and less pain, will get back to the gym this week.

Week 3 Notes: I am posting these pics not because I think I look better, but simply because I am holding myself accountable. My efforts have been mediocre and so are my results. I will need to exert some real effort and make some changes to my diet in order to see the results I want to see. Still fighting two infections and my energy level is not what it could be, however, my diet can be better!

Week 4 Notes: This is the end of Week 4. Have been tired for a couple days. Working more hours, more stress in general affects energy levels. I have needed more sleep. Muscles repair/grow when you sleep!

Week 7 Notes: These are the stats for the end of Week 7. I had a few rough weeks, but am ready to begin anew and finish this 16 week challenge! No camera this week, so I will update pics at the end of Week 8. **I love my body, I love all of it, and I love it enough to take care of it and make it the best body I can have**

Week 11 Notes: End of Week 11. Trying to break the 226 lb. 'plateau', this is a 16 week challenge for me.

Week 16 Notes: End of a challenge that petered out in the last few weeks due to working overtime and taking on a new volunteer position. Starting new 16 week challenge tomorrow.
