Team Challenger...Hello Thursday
Good Morning people! I thought it was my duty to get a thread going as I've been less than active on here in quite some time. Wishing clean eats, kickass workouts and all around positivity and good energy for everyone! Off to work... Cheers, JJ

hey jj - you sound downright cheery!! (that's a good thing)
Well I succumbed to the lolly jar - ah just kidding - actually upon leaving I decided I could have one jelly bean (total 3 calories), for me in some ways that was strong than saying no completely. It felt good.
Other than that one jelly bean it's been a good clean day of eating for me, started with a solid and very challenging spin class and now finishing by heading off to bed
night all

Jacki good to hear you sounding happy
Schelle candy = bad! Stay away I can't even have ONE tiny thing, that'd tip me into a downward spiral *sigh*
Mark you're doing great!!! Keep it up!
Jared you look awesome! I know it sucks not working out, but for now that's the best thing you can do.
This morning I did chest, shoulders & tri's (P90X) all chest moves were wall push-ups (sighhh even for me that sounds sad) or light chest presses, I alternated every set between the 2. That was INSANE! It felt great! I'm so glad I changed up workouts this week!! I'll be able to do a 2nd workout today so that'll be elliptical & some light abs I believe. I tried a crunch this morning & that was good
Super excited now though, seriously, I THINK things are changing with my going pretty psycho with the diet. My ring is getting looser, hopefully that will be a good sign. Went shopping this morning & bought all I need for my non-cheat cheat day. Arnold sandwich thins, BOCA burgers, melons (yummmm) and Live Active pudding (active cultures in it & low cal & stuff, ha). Yeah totally looking forward to it I messed up last Sunday but that won't happen again! Yesterday I found a Hungry Girl cookbook I have so I can make treats that aren't so bad (like non-cheat cheats if you will ha), so I'm happy now and can see it being easier to not cheat for 4 weeks (now that time reset to Monday the 26th it started). And, of course, if progress is to be had I will be more motivated on eating clean
Have a good one all!

Jared, hang in there and take it easy waking up. Too many people get injured waking up in the morning. Nothing wrong with wall pushups. That's being smart about working around injuries. No sense going crazy and having a setback. Love the veggie burgers from BOCA and Morningstar Farms. Wish they were a little cheaper.

Mark, I see abs! Wow! I save time not standing on that stupid scale in the mornings. At least two minutes. Thanks for the start, Jacki! Went to CrossFit this morning. Fourth time this week (and yoga on Monday), so I am ready for some more yoga, please. Food's OK. Having a fat day. But my clothes fit the same.

Good Morning all. Everyone sounds chipper today. Great job Mark..... Schelle: Dang lollies Joc: I am so glad you are showing such wonderful progress. Loose ring and you are doing far more that you were doing even a month ago. You got this in the bag. Jacki: Thanks for starting the thread. Hope your work day goes well. Nicsan: good to see you. Meals and exercise going well, I feel like it is time to take the weight lifting up a notch. Bicycle is still good and I noticed that one of the hills that I took this morning was easier. Got a union meeting to go to this morning so will be scarce for a while. Have a great day. Where is Greg, Jan, Lissy, has anyone heard from them?

Sooo yesterday during my extra elliptical session I thought I might've been bonking when all of a sudden it felt like I went from resistance 2 to 8 (without adjusting) and I could not adjust it lower... Wellll notsomuch. Apparently my elliptical changed it's own resistance or something, I dunno, unless I can't move it at all I'm not making another service call (it just got fixed LOL). So that was a HARD & slow feeling 30 mins! Felt like I was running through knee deep mud. Then I did some light abs, holy f&^% it's like having to relearn how to use them all over again! But BOY am I glad I can do them some!
WTG MJ! Glad you are getting better! I sent Jan a message on FB, not sure about the others.
Wow Carol that is AWESOME! Have a blast!!!!

Mary Jo, do you have a computer for your bike? That'll tell you stuff like speed and distance where you'll be able to track improvement with numbers. Diane, I'm going to do away with the scale for August too. It gets me sideways when my weight is up after I've killed myself the day before. Do you do yoga at crossfit or at home on a dvd or something else? Hope the elliptical starts cooperating Joc. Have a great weekend Carol.

MarK :nice progress- good work man!
Carol: sound so much fun - awesome!
Joc: honey I don't think we have the same meaning as you guys for bonking *!* I would really hope you and DH were not 'riding' that elliptical together - no wonder it broke!
MJ: great to see progress - brilliant that you are seeing such improvement with both cardio and weights!
Di: nice on the workouts!! My dear most days, at some stage, I encountered a fat moment, sometimes it is a fat day, stupid fat!
Well I'm off the the gym (bloody cat woke me up way to early just for a bit of company) I swear if it's not the kids, it's the animals.

Do you do yoga at crossfit or at home on a dvd or something else? Oh good, I'm thrilled someone is going to join me! I don't know why I stand on the scale anyway. I can tell how much I weigh, just by how I feel. I go to yoga at the CrossFit gym one day a week, and I'm trying to go to a second day (or more, time permitting) at a yoga studio. I have some DVD's, but I don't feel like I do as well on my own. Like I don't push as hard.
