Good Morning Gals!
I am. so. nervous. Had insomnia last night, repacking my suitcase in my mind. And writing letters to the boys in my head as well....I got to see Beth and C last night! Funny how boys love to be on the filthy ground. And being around C affirmed to me that my boys ARE LOUD BOYS. Not typical, but extra loud. They sure don't get it from me.
I did not work out yesterday but diet was perfecto.
Janice I loved the sound of your drink! And yeah I would sprinkle in a little protein powder and see how it tastes. How are things going today?
Michelle do you have CF today?

Morning Ladies!!
I leave tomorrow. Can't believe it's here already!
Hula - I'll be writing my "I love you" letters to the kids tonight. I thought I'd have stopped that by now, but every time I leave them for more than a day - especially when flying, I have to bust out a "in case I don't make it back you have to know how much I love you...." 3 pages later I'm a mess. My husband thinks I'm out of my mind (which I may well be,) but I'm used to having those kids with me 24/7! Anywho. I wanted to work on the tan today, but it looks like rain
Okay. Off to run errands with DH!
Hope you all have a bright, sunshiney day!

Michelle, hm, HNM day, I'll have to check things out even though I'm going to be really busy today Hula, I hope your nerves don't get the best of you. Truthfully, I'm more nervous driving (or riding) long distances than I am flying (have you seen the way people drive??). I hope you don't put any pro powd in my Pink Bikinis They're half frozen & ready to go. Loud is okay, in my book. Elle, we actually have some clouds but it makes for a nicer run! Hope your errands are all successful! Hmm, love letters to the kids - I don't think I ever did that. Of course, the way I write, esp when it's about feelings, they'd prob'ly think I hated them instead I used to say to DS when he'd leave the house, "don't die, don't do weed." So I guess it's kind of the same thing... And when DD#1 would leave for elem school in the morning, I'd say, "be good, for a change!" It was a joke b/c she never got into trouble at that age Time for a run, then babysitting, a couple meetings about my new job and then to help Carole pack. Then I may make a couple snacks for the trip... after I pack, of course. Catch y'all later! ♥

I changed the name of the thread because I'm all twisted up about when y'all are all leaving. Hula loud boys are normal, I had two really loud ones and one really quiet one. Elle I thought about you this morning when my friend overslept and didn't walk with me, I decided to walk/run instead. At one point I forgot all about what I was doing and actually found a pace that I could live with and just ran. OMG Jeanne we have so much in common. I would always tell mine "keep your pecker in your pants".

I'm going to work backwards here... Gayle, have a GREAT time. I know you will. Have fun, relax, and get your girl time in. We'll see ya Tuesday. Michelle, we like to keep everyone confused. I love the 'keep it in your pants'. I'll have to remember that one. Great work on the run this morning. Is that in addition to your CF workout? Dang. Jeanne, be careful driving, there are lots of crazies out there. Have a great day today, give our love to Jules, and say hi to Carole. I can't wait to see you!!! Elle, you and Hula, writing your letters to your kids. I always think about what might happen, when I'm gone like that, but I know in my heart that I have always told C how much I love him and showed him every day. But I never have written a letter, I think in my mind that makes it even more of a chance something might happen, if that makes sense? I can't believe it's tomorrow, either. I packed some this morning and will finish tonight. It was fun. I'm glad DH is home and you guys can spend some time together before you leave. Hula - do I need to slip a Xanax in your drink on the plane? You'll be FINE girlfriend. You look GREAT, your kids are NOT loud (mine's just extra super quiet, people ask me all the time if he's ALWAYS that quiet) and we will have a BLAST. Promise. Oh and tell the boys it was great to see them. I loved hearing all their stories. I felt like they had 'accepted' me as part of your extended clan. Oh - before I forget - does anyone have a good recommendation for a water-proof mascara? I'm headed to the beauty store at lunch and need a good one for the trip. Janice, definitely yay for big pants. You are doing good, keep it up!

Carol that's just not right...LOL!! Hug her for me!! Beth I don't wear the waterproof unless I'm going to an event or something. The regular version doesn't run too much and I am a HEAVY sweater.

Just finished lunch at the winery. Beautiful day.
Ummm. Letters to your kids before traveling? Morbid...
Safe travels tomorrow.

I guess I'm morbid, but it makes me feel better to get it out. And I tell my kids countless times a day how much I love them, but I think to myself, if I were to die, it would be nice for them to have it in writing, maybe for when they get older and don't remember the million-zillion times I've told them. Not that I really think anything's going to happen...just makes me feel better. To each their own. I've always been a worrier, so it goes.
Finished packing. Thought I did a great job with minimalism until I got all the shoes in. Aye yi yi. It's kinda ridiculous.
Now I'm packing food for myself for the long plane trip tomorrow. We had a family celebration tonight and I had a big meal and dessert and I just don't want to think about more food!
Safe travels all. And Michelle and Janice, have fun keepin' the fort down, we'll be thinking of you both and missing you! Gayle, I'm sure you're gonna have a great time with your girlfriends this weekend
Cheriebear, I'll see you when you get me at the airport mama!!!!

Have not given more than 5 minutes thought to what I am packing. YIKES! San Diego, credit card, several hours to shop....I should be fine. I will plan to be at the hotel around 3 to meetup with Cherie's airport pickup (hmmm, that sounds risque!). Text me if you guys are going elsewhere before you come to hotel so I can find you! Maybe I will write a letter to my horses.....heehee. I think it wonderful that you do that for your kids Elle and Hula. I have this little figurine that was my mom's. Sometime late in life she put a sticky on the bottom with my name on it--I love seeing her handwriting more than I love the figurine. *sigh* Moms rock.
Bark less. WAG MORE.
grins, Pam
