Team Challenger TGIF 7-30
Not sure who has today, just getting things going early (well early for MOST people, I've been up over 3 hours now) since I'm not sure if my net will keep working or not, stupid friggin satellite crap...
So today's run (prescribed 2.5 miles) workout went like this: 5 mins walk @ 4.0 mph, jog @ 6.0 mph for 8 mins, then three times through of [1 minute each] 6.0 mph, 6.2, 6.4, 6.6. I wanted to do one more set of those intervals but I wouldn't have been able to finish so the last 5 minutes were 6.0 mph. Then I walked very slow for 2.5 mins to cool down & got on my elliptical for 20. I'm not sure if my body is really ready for intense intervals yet, so I'm not going to push too much.
I'm glad nothing is hurting from trying out abs yesterday, no regrets, time to just build again

Good job, Jacki! Rest day here.  Mark, sparring with 12 year olds sounds kind of crazy.  Carol, you going to post a picture today?  Joc, sounds like you are on your way back for sure!

Yay Joc. Great job Jacki, getting that workout done and out of the way. Hi Mark. I love yardsales. Diane: Enjoy the rest day. I have weight workout today, but I love to run on the treadmill so might switch it with tomorrows workout. I plan on doing it during my lunch hour. I have to make chili for my sweety tonight so need my evening free for that. He goes camping for a week each August and loves to take the chili with him. I will be joining him next Friday to finish out his weekend camping. We go to the coast. Hugs, Mary Jo

Diane meh I'm not so sure about that... I'm happy in the morning then afternoon time I'm a crankopotamous cuz of swelling (EVERY single time I workout hard), but I'm really really hoping things change this week. Enjoy rest day!
MJ you love to run? People who love to run blow my mind, especially on a treadmill! That iron will do you some good, lift hard
Anyway, looks like the stupid crap on my net cleared, so yay. I can't wait until Monday, sheesh! DH's shifts (what he's on right now) make me too upset cuz I miss him. And it didn't help I had crazy dreams that I woke up to... Yadda yadda.

Hi Jared. you are one busy guy You want pics? Check out my profile pic for week 4. I just posted it today. I have come far in one week!  Work out at lunch was good. My biceps are feeling like there is a muscle in there! I took Joc's advice and did my weight workout instead of the treadmill. She was right........ Friday afternoons go so slow sometimes and today is one of those sometimes.

The Cubs are the absolute worst! So, I worked out today and ate super healthy but then made tonight a free night. My buddy was over and we had a lovely night talking and eating caramel corn and ice cream sandwiches.... it was definitely worth it. I've only been doing cardio but now that i feel like i can breathe again when it comes to work the weights will begin on monday. Cheers all, J
