Team Challenger - Return of the Dragon

OK, Why is it when you take off of work for 2 days you have 3 days of make up work waiting for you?  I was MIA yesterday because of work issues.  Catching up for lost time but at least I have a job (and one I like too!).  How was your day yesterday?  I definitely liked the start.

Today, I have a cardio workout on hand.  A little fun run.  I am slowly improving my conditioning but I still have a ways to go.  Progress, not perfection...at least not yet.

Enjoy your day!

Morning DE. Missed you yesterday.

Kari-Guess I got my = sign screwed up. Oops.

CF today at 9:30. I just signed the waiver for the Spartan Race this Saturday. WTF was I smoking when I signed up for this?

The risk of injury and/or death from the activities involved in the Spartan Race and its related events is significant including, but not limited to the following: (i) drowning; (ii) near-drowning; (iii) sprains; (iv) strains; (v) fractures; (vi) heat and cold injuries; (vii) over-use syndrome; (viii) injuries involving vehicles; (ix) animal bites and/or stings; (x) contact with poisonous plants; (xi) accidents involving, but not limited to paddling, climbing, biking, hiking, skiing, snow shoeing, travel by boat, truck, car, or other convenience; and (xii) the potential for permanent paralysis and/or death. While particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist;

Ha ha ha.  That reminds me of some of the drug commercial side effects.  We will be pulling for you to make it....safely.

yikes, that is a terrifying disclaimer.

Got Insanity done this morning but my knees were killing me. This plyo is tough on my knees and feet. I just ordered some new cross trainers with a lot more cushion. I hope that will help. I played tennis for an hour and a half and then ran some errands. A nearby store is going out of business and they had all their wine 50% off. YAHOO!!!

Wine.

Morning Matt, DE, Val and Lisa!

5 sets of 1 deads @ 165,185,195,205(F),205. Followed by 3 rounds for time of 21 sumo deadlift high pulls(55#), 21 ring dips(blue band) in 7:39.

I WILL break through that 205 pound barrier soon. My coach said he's going to start working with me on that once I get my ass back to oly class. The SDLHP's are one of my least favorite lifts because of my shoulder, so I went with the lighter weight. Felt ok. The ring dips were too easy with the blue band so next time I go with the red. And so ends my boring workout report. Thank you for listening.

I think you're smart, you sweet thing.
